It is good that you have finally decided to get lean and mean. You are doing what you can to achieve the most desirable muscle in the world, the abs or what they also call the six pack.
The first couple of weeks would be the hardest but that is to be expected. The way we eat and the way we live our lifestyle is a learned behavior that we have developed throughout the years. They always say, “Old habits die hard”, and that can be true. We cannot easily undo our habits. It will take us time to develop or change a certain habit.
It is important that we have the right kind of motivation and inspiration. We work out because we want to be fit and we want to be healthy. We want to live long enough to see our grand kids. Being overweight and obese is never fun because you cannot do all the things that you want to do. You cannot be active for a long time because you get tired easily and you feel unwell, overall.
We should do this for ourselves, to be better, because it feels good seeing we are fit and healthy. You can find inspiration in so many things. For example, pick your favorite body builder and use him or her as your inspiration. Print out a poster and place it in your room or in the fridge so that you can be reminded of your potential.
If you are tempted to eat something that is unhealthy, think of him or her so that you will be reminded to stick to your healthy diet. If you do not have a goal or motivation, you would not have something to strive hard for.
You need to have the right attitude when it comes to eating and exercising. You have to find a way to make yourself enjoy eating right and exercising even if you find it not interesting. It takes awhile before you start to like what you are doing. Habits can be learned and then liked. Eventually, you will find that eating right and exercising is the norm for you now.
Be inspired to exercise and eat healthily so that you can achieve the six pack. It will take awhile before you do achieve it, depending on the amount of fat you have in your body and the way you exercise and eat. Stay focused and on track, eventually, you will get to where you want to be.
